24 HOUR
themes.
This is a multifandom writing community with themes based on the 24-hour clock. Each hour represents its own symbology and associations, and provide unique ideas for writers to explore. We're a low-pressure community that accepts all fandoms, original characters, and crossovers across multiple categories: Character, Romance, Friendship, Rivalry, and General Series.

RULES & GUIDE

• You may claim a character or a relationship from any fandom, and may have up to 3 claims active at once.

• There is no frequency of posting required, however, writers whom have not posted for several months may be checked in with periodically to see if they're still active. If you need to take a hiatus from your claim, please note it on your original claim comment. Any claim that has been inactive for over a year without a noted hiatus may be subject to being dropped for inactivity.

• For the relationship category, anything goes (het, slash (yaoi) femslash (yuri), incest) provided appropriate warnings are posted. If you have NOT posted an appropriate warning, that post will be deleted! This also goes for linking to claims hosted on your own journal or community.

• All works must be placed under an cut, with the posting format above the cut. Please post all completed themes as separate entries, for tagging reasons. Please use the following format when posting a theme:

TITLE your posts with the following format: Fandom; Hour; Title Here
TAG your posts with the following format: category, time, series

• Constructive criticism is valued, but no flaming or bashing of any author will be tolerated and will result in the offender being banned from the community.

• Each challenge MUST include a reference to the time (whether it be through a clock, an appointment, etc) AND be based on the provided prompt. For NOON and MIDNIGHT themes (Writer's Choice), still must include reference to the hour.

• Please read the FAQ before joining! It contains a lot of clarification that isn't here in the rules. If you have any questions, please address them there before joining.

• DO NOT post memes, advertisements, random spam posts, or anything of that nature in this community. If you do, you will have your posting access revoked.

• Be creative and have fun!

"We all run on two clocks. One is the outside clock, which ticks away
our decades and brings us ceaselessly to the dry season. The other is
the inside clock, where you are your own timekeeper and determine your
own chronology, your own internal weather and your own rate of living.
Sometimes the inner clock runs itself out long before the outer one,
and you see a dead man going through the motions of living.
-- Max Lerner (American Politician and Columnist, 1902-1992)
